I dunno about you, but I'm going to save up for a computer tablet. They're great for combining your ability to draw with the ease of digital editing. Most come with good programs

Oh hell no, smart boards suck ass. Drawing tablets are made to feel like you're really using a pencil on paper. They come with really good programs comparable to shop and illustrator

there's a big range. The one I'm looking at is about $70. Some can be over $140

Yeah and copied it through a machine into the computer. I think its meh but I'd really like to color and shade this...

I watch a man who is a cartoonist for a living on here (Tom Preston. Heard of him?). He mentioned that there are those who spend hundreds of dollars on equipment and utensils just so they can draw a picture. He said that the important thing is that if you have a no. 2 pencil and a piece of paper then you can do the same as them.
I drew this 2 years ago and stopped until I read those words.
