Description
I bought a few cubes of Sculpey III a couple weeks ago when it happened to be on sale and today I finally tried fooling around with it. I've never made any kind of model before so this was definitely a learning experience. I think I will try some of that Super Sculpey next time though!Related content

For a first timer this is pretty damn cool. I plan to buy some by next week to work on a few things.

That's awesome. And yes, Super Sculpey is awesome for statues and figurines. My husband and I just really started working with it and I love it!

it's just the beige Sculpey, then? At first glance, I thought it was Super Sculpey, but I guess that's just the color :>
Your style translates excellently to this medium, which is really neat. Do you plan on painting it, or leave it like this?
Really cute and cool either way~
You're making me want to break out the clay I got for Christmas :9

Yeah, it's just beige coloured. I thought it would be easiest to paint over, which I am doing right now! Thank you!

I've been looking into possibly trying to do some resin casting in the future to make some multiples, but we'll see what happens!

Great work! I must get into Scupley, it looks easier to model with than Fimo, but it's not widely available here!

TRAVALE In reply to littlemooglet [2009-01-24 13:38:39 +0000 UTC]
The certain kind of sculpey I used is really similar to fimo, but I hear Super Sculpey is much better to try so I am going to look for that
