Quick explanation on time:This took a while to do because it was done in Gimp and anyone who uses knows what I mean. Also My tablet did not have pressure sensitivity while I was doing it too so that is also what took so long.

The work itself is a Underground city that long ago sunk below the sands. But don't be fooled this beautiful city has a terrible secret. Its alive. A corrupted human consciousness was fused to the city itself as the city sank. This soul was some say was the person who sunk the city in the first place others say it was a poor prisoner that was experimented on and that experiment went horribly wrong. People also say that this city has been worn away and now the entire desert lives and breathes. But what everyone knows is if you enter that desert you'll never will be seen again.

I thought recently even though I drew it for myself I'd put it in this contest as well!
