Description old Sketches

Here are several old sketches, one was the original to dad's garage. The other 3 are ideas in progress. Though i would say the top right is part of a series i worked on.

Love the sketches. In my opinion there are fews things as fantastic as good sketch work. And, I am still in awe of how majical work is, great stlye.

Oh, wow, your loose sketches are so wonderful! They've got such great flow and movement and life!

(Which is not to say that your finished pieces don't, but I love love love seeing people's rough, unfinished work!)

do you start most of your drawing like this? After that, do you scan them into the computer to color in a program? (just trying to figure our your process!)

yup - all my works starts like this- than i draw it to size after that. I only scan them when i have finished the inks

Really interesting to see some of your bare bones sketches!

I was wondering whether you had any tips/reccomendations on composition - your images are always composed beautifuly. Know any decent books on the subject?

tips...? hmmm keep it focused every piece needs a direction and a focal point something to let the eye move gracefully.

as for books hmmmm..... national geographic and figure drawing without a model by ron tiner- i hope that helps
