Description
I am really picky about the causes I will support. One of my favorite causes is "Kids Need To Read".They asked me to do a piece for their calendar for 2013 to help support their cause in motivating kids to pick up a book. Here is my entry to their calendar.
If you want to check our more about this great program come take a look. [link]

You do such a good job on mixing hard and interesting things with humanity and simple warmth. I am rather in awe of your abilities.

I love this! It's awesome! For a good cause, too.
It reminds me of a story by Isaac Asimov. Robbie. Lovely short story, though Robbie was mute.

This is great! It reminds me of a poster-sized painting by Jean-Claude Mézières, set in a lush countryside, with a big robot (looking a lot like the robot in Forbidden planet) reading to a little girl who's sitting on his lap. She's dressed in late 19th century style with a wide sun hat and he's finishing the story with "...and they lived happily ever after and had a lot of mutants". Of course, he's saying this in French and in French the word for children (enfants) rimes with mutants (mutants).
