Tea with SophiaJust felt right- - though I think one could relate with the dragon as they listen to the stories of a very talkative young lady.

My wife just asked if sophia was the dragon or the little girl? never thought of that.....
update 2
Base colors but you all know this will change as we continue with this piece more to come later.
Anyways here are the inks, I plan to have this done for wondercon along with another piece- I hope I can finish them. I am still very sore so I will not be coloring tonight but i will work on it tomorrow.
update 3Ok it is starting to take shape color wise- i think i am going to really hit a different color scheme on the one- so what you see here in the flats will only be for the flats... things are becoming magical now....

The company is called "The Extra Reading Company." ([link] ). He received some heat from Reddit a few weeks back. Looking at his materials, his MO seems to be to mine Deviant Art for illustrations and then use them with no citation. Quite a business model.
Looking at your original, it appears that he also removed your signature. According to the note on this page:

So Sophia the Dragon is a Austrian Specklebacked Bulgetail?
Her tail looks a bit funny with that bulge halfway down it... I mean, logic suggests that she's just got it lying wavy, but it just don't look quite right from over here.

Even the the doll is sympathetic with the dragon having to listen to the girl by the way it's looking at him. The dragon's stool must be made of oak to hold all that weight!

I think the Sophia works better with the dragon because the name seems more grown up. If the little girl's name was Sophia, I think she would've been called Sophie while she's still that age.
I really like your dragon! She seems very patient and grandma-like. I think I'd love to have tea with her, too!

you are right- our sophia is called sophie so that could be very true. I also think dragons are much like grandparents wise, patient and slow to judge. AS for having tea with our friend here i do not think she will mind
