Description The explorers
11x14 image size

Growing up sometimes all we needed was a few cardboard boxes to make us happy. We could play for hours and hours. We went to far away places and did incredible things... This type of play taught us to think outside the box and thinking outside the box will allow us to some really incredible things and solve some complex problems.

Dont be afraid to play a little with your imagination.

This is serious stuff!
The main control panels have to be finished by the time the warp drive engines are secured!
Beautiful and magical. Who else used to build impenetrable shelters out of bed sheets and chairs? We sure did and spent whole afternoons fighting off the baddies in the lounge.
Thanx for the memories.

They're not getting anywhere fast....not without a without a deflector dish! They better get on drawing one.

Awesome pic, it leaves a lot to the imagination, maybe that's just me. Is the sky real or are the planets just imagined? Are those engines or cardboard tubes? Just fun things I feel like are better not answered.
Thanks for sharing it!

Indeed, if there's no mystery or questions it loses something. Keep up the awesome work.

You just summed up about 60% of the total time of my childhood. And, since in many ways I'm still a kid (though in my middling years), you've summed up about 45% of the total time of my life... Thanks for sharing this!

Great science fiction. I wish film makers had at least half as much imagination as these two.

Great image, and great memories! I did the same thing. But I went a bit more pro: I got all these old radios and appliances from the trash and built them into my spaceship (under my table) in my room. Lots of buttons to push and knobs to turn. I still own one wardrobe, though, 35 years later, that has parts of a cockpit drawn on its back
