Description Most of my drawings are coming out like this and all doodly. :B Should I be worried?

Also, I'm headed into college. I'm considering working on the art in my spare time if the commissions might help pull in a little bit of money to soften the debt. (Actually, I'll probably doodle occasionally in my spare time either way.) Is there anything in particular I might want to know before I even begin to put that offer out there?

Well, you've got the form in and all that jazz, why not just retrace/refine it?

Commissions? It ain't worth doing part-time unless you've got high demand for your works so you can charge what you like. Another major point to consider is that even if it's part-time it will be very time-consuming (if you want to deliver something decent) that you'll end up procrastinating it in favor of your studies or that you neglect your studies while you desperately try to finish the commission satisfactorily and in time. So unless you're going to art college I'd say it'd be better to find a part-time job with a stable regulated working hours instead. Even if it's an art college, I'd strongly recommend you get to grips with your studies first before considering taking commissions.

The whole second paragraph was based on real-life experience.

Nah, it's not an art college at all. Going to university to major in Computer Science, and going to see if I can get a start with EA or a small company near by or whatever opportunity I can see after I get out if all goes well.

It's just I haven't even STARTED my classes yet, and already I'm owing money that I'm going to have to pay back.

I thank you very much for the advice.
