This combines two of my favorite interests; vector and football! (or "soccer" here in the USA)

I like the simplistic, abstract feel to this, but there is definitely a forceful, aggressive element, and that's the inherent charm of the vector.

The shading is wonderful, and green is a good choice; I don't know if this was intentional, but green symbolizes vitality and enhances the spark of energy and drive. The circles lend to the abstract feel, and are a good choice of shape alongside the ball.

The caption, needless to say, is well-chosen and entirely appropriate. Great job!

On the GIMP:

-Get the cut out of what you want,
-Add it as a new layer
-Right click on the layer
-Select "Alpha to Selection"
-This should then just highlight the outline of the cut-out
-Add a new layer
-Use the fill tool to fill in the selection with the currently selected colour.
