The door creaked open, startling Blossom. She put down the papers she was reading and turned her attention to the door.

"You're late," she exclaimed while furrowing her eyebrows at the person. Brick scoffed and took a sip from his soda can.

"And you're drinking too!" Blossom continued raising her voice even louder, wagging an accusing finger at him.

"Chill babe," Brick's voice resonated throughout the room. "This is a library, you shouldn't be talking so loud." A smirk danced across his lips.

"And you shouldn't be drinking!" She retorted. Brick threw the can up in the air and disintegrated it into a pile of dust. He then quickly flashed a million dollar smile in Blossom's direction.

Blossom was not amused. She heaved a heavy sigh and picked back up papers from off of the table on which she was sitting. "Teacher said if you don't do this project, you'll flunk out. And you're such a smart guy...."

"So?" He scoffed jokingly. "Do I care?" He began approaching her while shrugging his shoulders.

Blossom's head snapped up, a disgusted expression on her face. "If you don't care, why did you agree to meet me here anyways."

Brick's devilish smile grew even wider. "A smart girl like you has to ask? I thought it was pretty obvious"....
