Buying PACKET Cookies does...not...count! how dare you labour me with the title of mistress baker when it is obvious that baking from scratch is not in the job description...surely true baking would involve the actual sifting of the flour and the insertion of the chocolate chips. I re-iterate Packet Cookies are not REAL cookies.

Packet cookies do count. They are simply a timesaving measure so that one does not have to measure the dry ingredients. After all one adds, eggs, butter, and perhaps milk, depending on the recipe, then after mixing, forming, and baking one achieves a homemade cookie product. I defy anyone in a blind taste test to be able to tell the difference between a good brand of packet cookies from cookies derived from the same recipe, but hand measured. Face it, dear, you've already on that slippery road called, "homemaker".

Not long...about 1 and 1/2 hours. They look great on. But because they are so big, they only look effective when you have your hair up.
