Description A request by ~RaltheCommentator . Now, I know I said that requests were closed throughout most of these busy months with midterms and projects and all, but it was done in my sketchbook, which doesn't take nearly as long as the digital requests.Β 


Maxwell and his baby girl Elizabeth in a bit of a blooper. It was entertaining to draw except for those damn hands. She asked for a high quality sketch so I just inked it. Hope you like it, Ral!

So cute, Elizabeth looks like a cute little girl, does Maxy love his daughter or is he more like the "Why did I get you?"/confushed father?

Looks so cute~! c: I know babies are pretty hard to draw... I've drawn them several times in the past, they mostly have a pretty big head compaired to their bodies, and have pretty much fat... c:

No problem, you are a great artist. And you've got populair, very fast, for me it took atleast 1,5 year, now I'm almost 2 years on DS...
I feel like drawing a pretty dramatic scene of Maxwell, which is a spoiler to my comic... And a realistic portret of him.
It's pretty funny, but since I created Whitney, more people seem to make fanchildren for the DS characters... O.O I need to draw Whitney again, although, many people draw her the last time without permission... =/
Yush, all parents feel like that, but in that time I think the most. After all, around 1900 the man weren't allowed to be there when the woman gave birth, nor did they took care of the kids very often...
I had a pretty sad dream of Maxwell, Johanna and Elizabeth... =/
I think babies are one of the mist difficult humans to draw... For me it took ateast 3 months to be able to draw them.

Of COURSE the father was there to care for the children, it was just uncommon for them to be in the same room because it was too "gruesome" for them to witness. But the father was there for his family, especially Maxwell.

I've Always immaged Maxwell crying when he met his child for the first time, I have no idea why, I just feel like that would be a moment he would leave his emotions. In my storyline Wendy and Abigail were his kids, since they said that they felt related to him and they wrote a letter about them once. Atleast Jack did. But because of Tumblr I also feel like Charlie and Maxwell created Screecher together... Atleast in my headcanon Maxy is the dad of little Screecher...

Thank you! ^^ It was so thoughtful of you to draw this for me! Overall, it's a very well done sketch indeed. I can see the terror in Maxwel's eyes as his baby almost drinks his cigar like a bottle.

As constructive feedback, it would've been funny if it was more like my original idea, where tired Maxwell holds a baby bottle like a cigar while his baby holds an unlit cigar near her mouth. Then it'd be more funny 'cause he's so tired he got the two mixed up.

Also, ideally, Maxwell would NEVER light a cigar in the baby's room since the second hand smoke would harm her little lungs. The cigar would be UNlit if Elizabeth got ahold of it. Also, maybe you could add a bow on her head? I never would've guessed she was a girl if I just saw this picture on its own.
