Wow! this one is great. I think this is my fav so far.
I donβt understand why I couldnβt find it in your gallery the other day. Iβm glad I have now. Brilliant work as always the detail and colours are fab.

oustanding piece. this is awesome. i love the the sandman comics (as if one couldn't tell by my fixation on morpheus in my own storylines) and this is a great image. it captures the feel of delerium soooo well. neil gaimen came to austin a couple of years ago to host a showing of the movie 'princess mononoke' at this big fancy theater and i was so awestruck by his presence. there was a question and answer, and i completely had to hold back asking him sandman related questions. then a friend of mine got to smoke a cigarette with him during the intermission! if only i could have been so lucky. anyhoo, great image and concept.

i have yet to finish my death,dream and desire/despair paintings properly but when i finally hand in the last of my work on the 12th i can't wait to get them done
i may even do a destiny and destruction one too.....?

awesome. you should sooo do it. i've daydreamed of the day when i'd sculpt dollies of the endless for a fairy-tale picture show. i daydreamed of painting them too, but alas, i haven't gotten around to it...sighting the costs of the seven large canvases i think i'd need for the job. but you should do it. your delerium piece is OUTSTANDING. all the rich colors and the mult-persona feel (which is sooo much like delerium)....
...and on the topic of dollies. next time i go to the craft store, which will be soon because i spend WAY TOO MUCH TIME THERE, i'll be more than happy to pic up a dollie for you. once you get your kewpies in you'll have to send me a pic of them via email and i'll check and see if the hobby store has some that are different in size and shape than those you already have. my pic of a kewpie, deeper in my galler (called the room with the ether), is typical of the kewpies that are sold at the shop i go to most often....the only difference is they come in different sizes. i have three identicle kewpies but their sizes range from about 5 inches to 1 inch. ....but we've got this other store called 'momoko' (more japanes stuff) and they had a HUGE kewpie. it was at least three feet tall and they wanted around $200 dollars for it. i check every month to see if it'll get cheaper since no one has bought it and its been up there for over a year.

my death and dream and desire/despair pictures are almost done
on the dream one i have to complete lucien marvin and the corinthian,on death i have to black line and add her goldfish and some variations of gray/black,on despair/desire i have to complete the mirrored wall for despair and do a bit on desires child for it to be finished.....
im hoping to get them finished next week then start on the destiny and destruction ones although there isnt alot about destruction i have found.
maybe i should do a cane and able and my favourite goldie one too!
there are so many thngs to choose from in his work that i tried to get a bit from each one when i paint/plan them...

This piece truly captures the spirit of delirium...all the colors and different angles and shapes at the same time...everything warping into each other...and I bet she is looking for the word that describes the state of several states of minds warping and bending into other shapes of mind...

You have the whole Endless-gang? Looking forward to all of them, especially Death, since she's my favorite character...and I am horribly picky when it comes to her face. But you did a great job on Delirium, so I can't wait to see more!!
