How to make it work:
download the .zip file to your desktop (you can delete this file once the unzipping is done)
unzip the .zip file into C:\windows\resources\themes\ using Winzip
Now that the unzipping is done, right click anywhere on your desktop
click on Properties
If you're using XP, click on the tab that says "Themes"
Click on the themes scroll menu arrow and click on Browse
get into the directory C:\windows\resources\themes\ that you just unzipped the files into and double click on whichever theme you just downloaded from me
now click Apply on the bottom right and all is happy!
(the screen capture shows where most of these things are/should be.
If I remember right, for earlier versions of windows, the same process will be under the Appearance tab.

I like the Colour scheme, but this isn't a VisualStyle. visualstyle is basically what the defualt XP is, more bubbly, a little rounder and more complex. A colour style isn't bad, it's just not in the right catagory.

Ok...fine, so its not the traditional "visualstyle" that everyone on this planet expects, a lot of people have bitched about that, but there isn't any other category to put it in. To me, this is my style of visual enjoyment of windows because I HATE xp's bubbly-look.

I'm not one for the bubbly look - its starting to overwhelm me. I'm an avid classic look for cars, windows and anything else that doesn't need aerodynamics ^_^

a visual style is using an editor or skin program and dynamically changing the appearance vs changing some colors around, thats what they meant

Difference is, Saffleur knows what they are talking about, and Tux0r - well you just don't get it. Still walking into doors and windows there tux0r?
Visual style is part of windows Theme service. Stop this service and you have no visual style. Colour themes such as this one, are just colour changes of the classic windows appearance. Anyone who has used a computer before Windows XP would know the difference between a visual style and a colour theme.

Since I am right, I will move straight to your second point. Colour themes for windows classic are ok, but visual styles (*.msstyles) are usually cooler. Except for any you think are cool. You are the anti-thesis of cool.

no that is my opinion too you called your work "skin" this is not a skin as he said this is a colour theme !
