The concept, however, is based on Grecian records of fierce, widely-feared female archers from the Ancient kingdom of Aethiopia. The fantasy OC Azmera is an archer of Ancient Aethiopia, but she also was born with magical affinity -- thus the term 'Archermage'.

The runes on her clothing were enscribed by the elders of her native city. She taps these runes in order to enhance her archery skills; and to give her temporary advantages pertaining to added stealth, speed and agility. She can also create illusions and utilize light and shadow to deceive her enemies for the span of a few minutes.
