Normal Chao: They are regular Chao that came to Sonic's World. They were creatures who were born over 4,000 years ago and were descendants of the Ancients. There were also different colored normal Chao based on their elements depending on which colors like you have seen on my chart in different climates like "Heat Chao" in Lava worlds, "Snow Chao" in Ice worlds, and "Sea Chao" in Water worlds.

Lura Chao: The Lura Chao are first, born in the Sol Dimension also known as Blaze's world. Unlike Normal Chao, the Lura Chao are intelligent and behave like normal people, and what's more is that as a Lura Chao, they have the ability to speak English and to use the Memory Globe from their dots. Their appearance in the Sol Dimension was violet-colored and their highlights were cyan-colored that are striped on their heads, dots, hands, and feet. But now there were different colored Lura Chao in other worlds and the one in Sonic's World has revealed to have the same color as the normal Chao are discovered. The other Lura Chao are based on their elements depending on which colors like you see on my chart in different climates like "Magma Chao" (Also known as Lura Heat Chao) in Lava worlds, "Frost" Chao (Also known as Lura Snow Chao) in Ice worlds, and "Aqua" Chao(Also known as Lura Sea Chao) in Water worlds. But unlike Zeos Chao, they must earn their powers in order to have the ability to control it. In order for Normal Chao to become Lura, they must have enough intelligence and learn how to speak so they can earn their stripes.

Zeos Chao: The Zeos Chao are a kind of Chao that acts like people like Lura Chao, although they only speak Chao, they were intelligent too. They also have the same appearance as the normal Chao, but they also have a gemstone on their forehead which gave them the ability to use elements depending on which shape of gemstone for each other Chao has. (Kinda like what unicorns do in MLP.) And they also live other worlds too depend on their elements as well in different climates like "Fire Chao" (Also known as Zeos Heat Chao with Fire gemstones on their heads) in Lava worlds, "Ice Chao" (Also known as Zeos Snow Chao with Ice gemstones on their heads) in Ice worlds, and "Water Chao" (Also known as Zeos Sea Chao with Water gemstones on their heads) in Water worlds. In order to become Zeos, the Normal Chao must learn to use element powers and depend on their element, their own gemstone appeared in their foreheads.

Amnenis Chao: The Amnenis Chao are special kinds of Chao that are combined with both Lura and Zeos. (Like an alicorn combined with Unicorn and Pegasus.) In order to become Amnenis, the Lura Chao must have enough element training and put the right gemstone on their heads. For Zeos Chao, they must learn how to speak like people do and try harder so that they will gain their Lura striped highlights. The different element Amnenis Chao have a species name that they are named after the natural disasters or something powerful. Like "Inferno Chao" (The Amnenis Heat Chao), "Blizzard Chao" (The Amnenis Snow Chao), and "Whirlpool" Chao (The Amnenis Sea Chao).
