This was my attempt to draw a bayleef shaded but messed up and decieded to go with it it has 5 o clock shadow XD Β but hope you still enjoyΒRelated content

she's so adorable!!I wish I could draw a bayleef!!(the evolution family is my favourite Johto starter,tbh >3)
also I recommend using different grades os graphite(specially Mars Lumograph) in that way you can have quite the potential to do any kind of shade,also note that you shouldn't press so hard when doing shadows or colouring or anything at all,if you do anything lightly it will always be a lot easier to correct it,ok?okie >:3
also a easy smudge technique:instead of using your finger to smudge(which can contain fat and other dirty stuff) you can use a napkin to do so and it is a lot better
