Description Mosasaurus (from Jurassic World and Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom) versus. Monstro the whale (from Pinocchio)

Who would win this ultimate between these two, giant marine predators? Between the 'Beast of Maastricht' and "Whale of a whale"? Between a mosasaur and a odontocetis whale?

Monstro the whale is owned by Walt Disney Animation Studios
Mosasaurus is owned by Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment

I think that Monstro could actually take this considering if he can echolocate like modern toothed whales and considering he’s a sperm whale (possibly the Giant raptorial sperm whale Livyatan, which is the same size as Mosasaurus hoffmani), his sonar could stun the Mosasaurus and then he could deliver the winning bite considering that whales are arguably faster than Mosasaurs were (Mosasaurus was built for power as opposed to speed). Sperm whales could arguably dive deeper than mosasaurus as most mosasaur fossils indicate the coastal shallows as their environment and sperm whales are the second deepest diving animal after Cuvier’s beaked whale. Plus, Monstro’s teeth also seem to be bigger than the mosasaurus’ teeth and he might be more cunning. However, if the mosasaurus gets a good bite and disables Jim, she could take it but overall Monstro might actually handle this, albeit with difficulty

I believe Mosasaurus is getting the most votes here but then again, Monstro is a Sperm Whale (a Whale Capable enough to take down Giant Squids for Lunch), so.............

it's 50/50 for me in this bout X3

Well the thing is, it’s kind of difficult for a Sperm Whale to get its jaws around something due to having such a large head. And outside of their tailfluke and flippers, they’re not really that flexible. By which I mean they couldn’t really turn their head on a dime due to the way their neck is built. Mosasaurs had no such difficulty as their whole body was flexible due to the method in which they swim.

Plus while Sperm Whales feed on Giant Squids, Mosasaurs fed on a larger variety of dangerous prey such as sharks, large predatory fish like Xiphactinnus, and even other Mosasaurs. So while Sperm Whales are tough, Mosasaurs are even tougher because of the kind of prey they feed on.

But Monstro's mouth  is broader than that of an  average sperm whale .

Hardly changes the outcome. Even with broader jaws, studies have shown Sperm Whales hardly even use their teeth to help them catch and eat giant squid, as individuals with little to no teeth or jaw deformities have been observed and appear to be well-fed. So while they are functional, they don't use them to tear away the flesh from their prey (they wouldn't be able to anyway since their teeth aren't serrated).

All Monstro could ever hope to do is bite a Mosasaurus but be unable to kill it or even tear off one of its flippers since its teeth weren't really designed to do that. Whereas the Mosasaurus has no such handicap since its prey items included sea turtles, so it obviously had powerful jaws and teeth in order to penetrate the turtle's shells.

Also, Monstro is way bigger than the largest sperm whales which exist in the real world.

Let's see....who would win: the whale that swallows old men, sentient wooden puppets and assorted small house pets or the Kaiju-sized marine reptile that has hunted hybrid theropods in the past?
That is a tough one, but I think that the Mosasaur has a slight edge.

At the length they are about the same (I mean JWFK one). However, size not the main point since mosasaurus have deadlier jaws and more durable skin.

But how you know?! We the full size of the whale is hardly/barely seen in the animated movie so you take a look  at these pictures  while i'll try to compare and check out their sizes.

Mosasaur, since it's called after the river Meuse and it's found in the Netherlands, not only that, it has a great bite force
