Felt pen, colour pencils, about 10 hours.Been a while since I did a whole page of colour pencils (meaning forever, as in never) The colours were really fun to do! I only like the top 3/4 of the image
I may resubmit it without his terribly disproportioned legs...Daoma is the leader of the werehuskies (Modeoa) of Riiga. He's a nasty character.

First off, the sky is gorgeous! D: I love those colors, I love the rim of the clouds glowing out from it all. The purples are so beautiful, I dunno. It must be amazingly cool to see in person, just all those pretty colors WHAM in your face.
And, this gives me a whole new view on Huskies. They are my favorite dogs, and now I see them as vicious man-slaughtering beasts of fury. But pretty, nonetheless. His weapon is major win, I like the fluttering wrap on the handle. Just adds detail that I like, and the folds in it are cool. They're so fun to draw, lol. But uhm.. yeah. I like where it blocks out the sun, and how it catches the light of that in a loverly red circle. But, oh noes, it's not straight
Did you reference your own hand again? Seems I've seen these hands many a time before. The one closer to us, on the left side of the screen, yeah, it's great. I love the way you blended the colors to create the lighting. The shadings and contours of the fingers are... I want to say badass, but I don't say things like that o: They're spiffy!
I bet the fur took your forever, it's amazing. I really like how it starts from his snout, and the markings under and to the left of his eye. His eye is just plain creepy but yeah. And the studs in the ear are a good touch, they look nice. So does the rest of his jewelry. I like the balance that you've given the image, the whole three-piece, three beads, yeah.
If you think about it, dog's feet and lower hind legs are generally smaller than their front ones, so this is probably accurate in that sense, but I see what you mean in the looking disproportionate, but I still think it looks fine. His, uh, clothes are cool. I like the way it flows, and the movement. It all has a great circular pattern to it, too

Laura strikes again! Werehuskies are indeed extremely ferocious :3 And of course the weapon isn't straight! The shaft is a piece of wood, lol. I'm sure it does the job just as well. Yeah the colours are pretty intense in person.
I often reference my own hands, because I see them daily. They sorta get stuck into my head

Yeah sometimes I just do it by hand. Fancy that! I sketch constantly and upload only a minor percent of the drawings I do

le-sigh for some unknown reason when i saw this i started missing my bf.. i think its the very large hands. his are big and nice to hold [except when he finds it fun to squeeze my hand, thats not so nice]

Modeoa is their proper name, but werehuskie and weremamalute are common terms... even though mamalute and huskie are different

Although I'm not a fan of furry art, I really like how this piece was executed as a whole, especially the texture of his fur and the light source. I don't know if it was intensional that you've used complimentary colours for this, but I really love how you've balanced the colours ^^

I love the composition, which makes him look very impressively big XD it looks dynamic through it is a "static" pose (don't know if it makes sense, I'm too lazy to take a dicionnary sorry)
As usual, your coloring skills are nice, and you made lot of details!
And the contrast between hot and cold colors looks really nice!
