2 hours, Paintshop Pro, mouse.My... err... 6thish attempt at capturing Keid in their environment. I think this is my quickest, simplest, and more accurate depiction so far. I suppose, relatively speaking, it's a speedpainting
Two Keiden boys (Toro and Roda) track a pair of runtan through the depths of the southeastern Great Greens, but are they being hunted in turn?

Really an excellent piece! I love the atmosphere and light in here. The contrast between the light source on the left and the shadowy figures on the right is great.
I am curious, though. Do you use references for the humans in your artwork?

I do what I call vague referencing. It means that yes, I do look at other images while drawing, but I generally don't "copy" it to the point where one is able to distinguish which parts are copied if the painting and reference were side by side, unless I point it out. References are usually guides. Thanks for your compliments!
