Felt pen lineart, coloured with a mouse on Paint Shop Pro.I did this a week or two ago, and I was going to add William's younger sister in the background, beneath the window, but I've lost the feeling of the picture so I thought I'd upload it anyway. His costume underwent some... alterations. Mention anything to do with Kingdom Hearts and I'll slap you silly!
Anyway, it's based on a scene from a story of mine, but what is he trying to ward off?

I love the tilted perspective (?) - it makes the scene more dynamic and dramatic. Great lineart and the coloring is gorgeous

A monster, or an enemy human?
If you had put his sister (it's good anyway, amazingly good) I would say he's protecting her from whatever is advancing on him, and about ready to fight even if he doesn't have anything to fight with.....or......does he? Hmm.... (Grin)
I love the atmosphere and feel of all your pictures...makes me wish it was a book, a video game, or a virtual reality game, like .Hack/twilight that you go into and see/feel/hear everything that happens, you know? It's so real and lifelike. Another winner! Keep up the good work.
His expression is that of half desperation, knowing he can't win, maybe, but he's gonna try anyway and try not to show he's scared and all that. I love this.

He has no visible weapons, but a metal lantern might hurt if swung hard enough ;D I know what you mean about the atmosphere. It's the feel I try to create, yet I feel your suggestions would only lessen the feeling I try to create. I'm not trying to put you down -- I've thought about it a great deal, myself.

I had started writing so many comments for this, just can't seem to stop staring long enough to write a decent comment 
I like his long fingers, and the wraps and belt on his glove. I like the folds between the belts. I dunno if they would effect the folds and the way the fabric lays, though. I like the way you painted the base of his lamp, it has a good reflection and I like the texture you inferred. The wood texture on the walls really caught my eye, and I love the details of the spider webs in the corner and on the window sill/frame. lol, his hair is so win I can't get over it

Yeah, you saw me toil over the folds in the fabric long enough in an attempt to figure out what they would do. The lamp was quite rushed but I couldn't be bothered doing anymore to it, let along adding in Erin. The picture is [link]

the firefly inside the lantern is trying to blow out his oil lit candle, inside.. but he doesnt want her to do that, so he's trying to scare her off!
but what he doesnt know is that she's not really a firefly, but a shape changer.. one who has the ability to be whatever she desires to be! and when she is at the right point.. perhaps she will change into an echidna! and break it apart.. luckily for her, she has fire proof skin.. where as for the rest of them in that building.. they have no protection and its made of wood.. so bye bye to the room..

beautiful colors and nice tones. i like the lineart, although it feels a bit cluttered in the pelvic area, like theres too much going on.
but none-the-less, its still beautiful

the only thing~ that bit of hair to his left...it seems a bit off to me....it would probably look better if it was not there, since that kinda of hairstyle seems to go back, so it would not come out to the side to be visible there.

i love the pose of defiance against and unseen evil, it's very cleanly posed and looks brilliant. the light sources are amazing adding to the atmosphere of fighting back.

whoa, dynamic O_O niiiicccee^^ background is lovely, so is the pose. that wondow fill the empty space nice but true, someone else would be apreciated as well. it'd add more meaning to the picture. that way his anger and protective instincts would be obvious. nevertheless, it's still beautiful^^
