As I read this I noticed the mistake I did: I colored the whole area of my drawing dark blue, making it boringly flat! I should have used less pressure and switched the colors. Ah well, another copy on the table!

Thank you for taking the time to include the extras in your tutorials. I wouldn't have thought to add in the info on the weighting of the lines in a colored pencil tutorial. You are inspiring me to take up the pencils and try again.

Thanks. Actually, I have seen a marked improvement in the last month or so. I am currently working on a portrait. My family is impressed with the change.

Just one thing. Everything in this tut was, well, pretty much Red-oriented. If you make another color tut please make it with more color. It gives more... You know, UMPH!

Thats ok. But at least 2 like Red and Black. my fave. It would give an edge to color choices for other people to try out.
