Interesting style! I like it. FYI--I'm not sure if this works with older Apophysis programs, but with the newest one, 2.03b, if you go into options, on the general tab, if you select flam3-style transparency, then no background will be rendered.

Color range modification is not necessary if you render with Export Flame or HQI Batch rendering and select PNG or PPM file formats.
Note that PNG rendering with the built in Apophysis Render button will NOT remove the background, even though it is a png.

Awesome dude.
It's rather interesting that there have been a sudden rash of apophysis abstract tutorials.
Since you made this you might wan to see my gallery[ [link] ] ,
most of the art I do is apophysis abstracts.
I combine your abstract layering methods and apophysis fractals to create art that can almost compare to the things you churn out with C4D and 3Dmax.
(I really need to thank you for your light brushing, glow spark and glowing tentacle tutorials.
Without them i wouldn't have started this at all.)
