Smart- In Bash's line of work, one wouldn't survive without being smart. If something about an exchange smells fishy to him, he shuts it down right away. In his business, organization is direly important, so he keeps extensive records tucked safely away. Bash has had a few close calls with the law, where he barely slid by getting caught. But he is too smart for that, Bash makes sure nothing is traced back to him which makes finding evidence almost impossible. The cops and detectives search and search for something to get Bash put away, but then another case turns up and the leave him alone (at least for a little while). But Bash is definitely on their radar.

Charming- Clean-cut and professional. Just how he wants to appear to the cops. Swears by his legal standing and his business as legit- and on the outside, appears to be! He has developed an ego, and also very high standards (which looks good to his clients).

Thorough- No loose ends. All deals final, no trace of Bash anywhere. He has people working for him, "enforcers" and such. Bash is definitely a force to be reckoned with, he has developed to be very powerful. But, still, just small enough to skate safely around the law. His networks are extensive, he calls in favors from all the time, but more likely, they call upon him for favors, which puts him at a great advantage. Bash enjoys running things efficiently and timely. He is cautious, but intense.

Generous- Generous, maybe, more like: giving but expecting something in return. He is more than happy to help those in need, if they can promise him something in return. He lives by the model "Always take a favor over money." Many deals he creates with others turn out to poorly for those on the other side of the deal if they cannot comply. Bash is constantly bombarded with people wanting drugs, work, or money, and he always provides...And always receives compensation in one form or another.

Brief History : Like most pups growing up in the city, Bash lived in poverty. He was a product of a rape, and his mother resented that and took it out on poor puppy Bash. He never found out who his father was, but all he knew was he apparently was a traveling businessman with a well-off family. His mother was emotionally unavailable for Bash and his two siblings (he was the middle child). Eventually he dropped out of school at 1 1/2 (about 17 years human years) and had to work to earn a living, and was on his own at that point. He began work where he could: Waiter, Janitor, Grocery Clerk, etc. Bash went through jobs very quickly because of his large sense of self, which caused his bosses to fire him after only a month on average. He dabbled a bit in illegal business when he was about 2 years old (21-22 human years). But swore to get a clean slate when he fell in love with the most beautiful Labradoodle named Nancy. They were happy for a year and a half, and in that time he began working for an elderly dog, Josiah, in a furniture and rug store (the one he owns now!) Almost simultaneously, Josiah became a very powerful mentor to Bash, and Nancy became Bash's girlfriend who he had intent to marry. Sadly, just like his job history, all good things come to an end in Bash's life; his loving girlfriend fell into a very bad depression and severe paranoia and had to be institutionalized to keep her from killing herself. Only a month afterwards, Josiah was murdered, and his murderer never found. Bash was the only employee of the shop, so he took over after Josiah's passing and that's where he's been ever since. However, the business starting losing money fast and he had to find a way to get back on top of things. That's when he met friends through his younger brother, Carmine, that were in the drug business. He learned the trade quickly and had to develop a quick sense of things if he wanted to avoid getting caught. After a few months of hardship, he recovered and was better off than before. His income works like this (roughly): 70% furniture and rugs, 20% drugs, 10% Forged paintings. He is now very much in control of his life, and prospering.

- Nancy Woad, girlfriend that Bash was planning to marry, is currently in a mental institution for severe depression and paranoia, he doesn't visit her very often and doesn't like to see her that way, but he pays for her stay there.

/- Josiah Blazeck, deceased boss of the furniture and rug business, in which Bash inherited. Josiah took Bash in when he could not find work anywhere else.

/- Carmine Ellis, Bash's tri colored younger brother who runs with a bad crowd. Bash doesn't associate with him unless he's desperate.

/- Renata Ellis, Bash's sable merle older sister who he rarely sees and was not around much when he was growing up. But, he trusts her enough to help her if she needs help. Renata is a high class theatre dancer with an abusive husband.

Role Play Example : "Now, the rug comes with a year warranty, so if anything happens it will be replaced or your money back. That's partly what you're paying for, sir. Things happen to rugs all the time, you may feel like you don't need it, but I assure you, you're going to want the warranty." Bash politely nods and his gaze shifts from the rug back to the eyes of it's new owners. He keeps steady eye contact in a professional fashion. Cautiously with a hint of frustration for having to pay the extra fee, his client agrees, and hands over a check written out to "Furniture and Rug Emporium". Bash graciously accepts the check, and shakes the client's paw. Right as the client left, a seedy looking dog entered in the front door and began to look around like he was hiding something. Bash recognized him as Karl, and promptly hurried him to the back room of his store, hoping that his clients that were shopping didn't notice. "I TOLD you not to come here, and especially not through the FRONT DOOR!", his voice was a mix between a yell and a whisper. "Sorry-", Karl slurred, "I jus...need." Bash rolled his eyes at the drunk fool, "Here, take this and LEAVE. I am not through with you, though." Pissed off, Bash shoves something into Karl's paws, and looks quickly behind both shoulders. After the exchange, Bash shoves Karl out the back door, and returns to the front of his store, awaiting customers with a slight, friendly smile.

Other : Owns a furniture and rug store, but also a drug business on the side. Sells cocaine and Oxycontin himself. Can get ahold of Marijuana and Heroin if that's what you want. Also advertises "legit" paintings for his wealthy customers, claiming he has connections to the middle east and select places in Europe where he trades them. (However they are all forged). Also owns several properties around the city that are in no way connected to him personally, just in case his ambitions were discovered by the law.
