A WIP of my newest piece. I hope I finish it before the end of February, but its taking SOOO long!I still don't understand fully how to speed paint a background

Speed paint, is usually just a video of the artist working on a drawing for 12 hours sped up at least 400%.

Thats one definition, a true speed paint is usually timing yourself and limiting how long you spend on a particular picture. For big background pieces the best guys tend to limit themselves to 2-4 hours.
