Description
Wouldn't be the first time a denizen of the dream world has posed a threat to Gensokyans.Was going to use this idea in the WSW Chocolate Contest, but between a late start and delays related to custom character creation it ended up not getting done in time. Probably for the best, as trying to compress things like the dialogue between Reisen and Marisa to 3 panels would have been a little tricky.
Would also like to send a big thank-you to for his recoloring tutorial, without which we would not be seeing Freddy in this comic (or at least he would look nowhere near as good and would have taken much longer to walfatize).
A whooooole lot of learning how to use GIMP happened during the creation of this, heh.

Holy crap, I favorited this, but that was before you edited the description. I had no idea you used my tutorial in this. I'm glad it helped, and it's great to see this stuff in action.

Heh, yeah, it took me a minute to figure out how to turn links into avatars (still very new to Deviantart and how it works).
The Color to Alpha feature definitely made it easier to recolor the fedora and replace the skin color with something more burned-looking (fun fact: the burn texture is the score screen of Doom II with some blurring and color tweaking applied). I go a little detail-crazy with creations sometimes, so it's great that there was a way to color objects without leaving screwy pixels around the edges and/or having to zoom way in to fix them by hand.
