Try ebay. I've seen big sets on sale (buy-it-now) for up to 55% off store price! And if all else fails, Christmas is right around the corner (as is any other major holiday that might celebrate instead of Christmas...)

I got mine on ebay, but read carefully! Some people sell sets of like 120 ALL GRAY markers!! You want... the normal full color kind... XD just keep your eyes open there's gonna be a good deal out there just for you someday ^_^

They have prismacolour pencils at my school bookstore, but those are about $14 for a dozen pencils

The pencils are really nice too, but the markers rock my world. I think that the markers are like $24 for a pack of 8 or something. The set I got was 48, and regular it was supposed to be $150 maybe, but I got them at half off, because I couldn't possibly buy them full price. They really are expensive, but they're worth it and they last a long time.

Yeah, my mom usually supports my art related spending to a point. These she said she would only buy if I found a set on sale. You might want to go slow and buy a few at a time. That's the best way.
