Ugh. I get that Kubo was trying to avoid being obvious by not giving the most obvious candidate for superpowers...superpowers, but he was really just hurting Bleach in the long run by cutting Tatsuki out of most of the story. For one thing, she's probably the only character who'd says, "Okay, this is bullshit" to most of the story's "twists".

I agree.
In fact, Tatsuki is the only one who can kick Ichigo's ass without even trying. On top of that, she's doing it in a skirt.
