Well, the Shadow at least is having a good time, not sure about the bad guys in the car.
Its not often we get to see the Shadow lose his hat in the middle of all the physical action he typically does, I love the unique scene you've made here. (I imagine he must frequent the same haberdasher who supplies Indiana Jones, the Spirit, etc.)

Thanks. Trying to get that good action pose can be daunting sometimes. Glad you like it!

Heya, love the idea and the execution. It does take me back to the old radio dramas, though I'm not too familiar with the Shadow itself. Only downside, I'm sorry to say, is the photo backdrop - it doesn't "go" with the FG, it sort of clashes. I think a largely black BG would actually be better, bringing an old comic feel to it. Anyway, there's my two cents. I love that the guy who's driving is wearing thick coke bottle glasses!

hmmm interesting take on the BG. I had done it darker and i lost the foreground figures, but i guess i could have gone darker....

Its not so much the value of it - though you could be right - its just the mixed-media feel, with the photograph (or photograph-like) backdrop, just doesn't sync with the foreground style. My suggestion was just that, I'm not entirely sure it will help.

I was going to do one with no back ground. I might still do it because I am not that thrilled with it. Not so much the mixed media but the execution of it.
I dunno... maybe if i can catch up on everything else first.

Well thanks. there's some things that bug me with it but not enough to tear it to shreds.

It was a fairly well-done series. The writer was so advanced in his thinking that he actually got into a bit of trouble with the government- because he was writing about radar and nukes before they were actually invented!

My first exposure was the comics then some movies. The pulps were later and I loved them.
