Another fanimation, just in time for the Halloween season! This time I pay tribute to the absolutely breath-taking work of Rado Javor [link] and his beautifully eerie piece Scarecrow. [link] This is, as usual, posted with permission from the original artist and I take credit only for putting it into motion. Considering the crap he's had to deal with thanks to art thieves recently, I think that was very cool of him. First rate artist AND a first rate guy.

Actually a fairly simple one, only ten frames or so, but I think it came out well. And only took me a few hours to get everything right! Considered making the scarecrow's head move or something, but wanted to "keep it real, yo", so stuck with just the crows. And yes, I like the band Counting Crows, but only their first album or two. After that they got too freakin' cheerful. Damn their success! But speaking of which, here's a quick quiz to see if you're a natural blonde! Count how many crows land behind the hay bail-thing before any of them fall out!

That's it... keeeeeeep counting. Yes, I can make blonde jokes, I'm a (dirty) blond myself, so nyah.

And the trick is that they've got a secret underground tunnel right there, so they can all escape! Hah!
