Yeah. I'm just having a hard time balancing his flaws in my mind as I plot the comic ahead, but I think it's working out okay. XP

Until now i wondered why Tikal is alive in this comic. Did i miss something?
Is this some kind of spirit form of her again or another universe?

Chaos reappears physically in Sonic Battle.
I don't want to spoil to much, and I've thought about making a short list of "questions you might have about our comic" along with some answers and how we've chosen to handle the canon. But for your question. Basically when Tikal made her prayer that stored Chaos and herself in the Master Emerald, her body was suspended, and thanks to the Master Emerald's sudden shattering, she was not able to manifest herself in the form of a body. Her spirit however, does show in the game to be able to interact with characters to a degree, while her physical body remained sealed inside of the Master Emerald.
After Knuckles fixed the Master Emerald, Tikal could be released from it without immediately dying, or reforming as pile of distorted flesh. The reason this is not the case for Chaos is because his body is mostly water, and his DNA is that of a chao- a creature that can easily shapeshift.
To cut to the chase, Tikal's body isn't stuck in the Master Emerald in a suspended state anymore, so she's been able to inhabit it, and become one of the last remaining echidnas alongside Shade and Knuckles.

From what i remember she disappeared in Sonic Adventure along with Chaos in the end and it's not really sure to where at exactly.
I don't know what happened in Sonic Battle but from what i understood now you mean if he reappears physically Tikal does so too?

Possibly, yes. I can't say for sure how or why Chaos is back in Sonic Battle, but the fact that he is not automatically hostile towards Sonic and the team suggests to me that he has either a new purpose or has readjusted his perspective. 👍: 0 ⏩: 1
It follows that Tikal may be back somewhere as well, even if we can't see her. Chaos is optional and can easily be missed in the game. Who knows, Tikal may have been planned as a character in the game.
Knuckles states that Chaos reappears "During the darkest of times." This is shortly before
