So I made the boy and Girl Inkling faces.Didn't know what to name them, so I just named the girl Ta and the boy Ko XD
But for the hair style, this is what I needed, especially for the guy.

Hmm... While I like the design, the guy's tentacles don't really have the same masculine feel that the Inklings have. I'd say take the female design and make the back tentacles smaller so it looks less like a bouffant, and make the front tentacles more even in size and part them farther, so he has two side bangs instead of one emo bang. (That way, their hair styles are similar, but still visually distinct) For reference, imagine the hair style Arin Hansen has (there's probably a name for that style, I just don't know what it is). What you have is great, it just doesn't do the situation justice.

Ko has too many tentacles.
The Inklings were designed to have 10 limbs, including their arms, legs, the two major tentacles, and the four bits just behind the neck.
Yes, they are limbs.
So of course, Octolings were designed to have 8 limbs. I believe you can count them out.
However, Ko over here appears to have 2 or 3 extra tentacles. An 11-limbed octopus..?
