Description
Made out of stock images and some stuff I created myself.The first soldier is made out of 52 layers.
The whole PSD has around 225 layers in it.
Took 11 hours to make.

This is a completely sick piece, all the more impressive by how you managed to put it all together. Β Quite seamless. Β This is so great. Β An alternate title could also be Exfil. Β That seems to be a pretty popular word among former SF guys who write books. Β They alternate between exfil and extraction.

Calling the soldier "layer" would be wrong since he consists of many layers - body, balaclava, helmet, goggles, goggle effect, helmet camera, patch, text and so on. Add light modifications, texture replacements and adjustment layers and it's pretty much up there along 50 layers.

Amazing scene. I love all the details, like the small writings in the soldier's glasses, or the avatar of your profile on his sleeve. Quite an original signature, come to think of it.

Thank you! Well, it kinda looks a little bit like Iron Man's signature, but I still thinks it's pretty original. I usually try to integrate them in to the picture, kind of like a cameo like Hitchcock did.
