I like that you combined more simple shapes with your fluid lineart. (The ink work is really amazing!) I think the idea that you had with the color scheme is also a strength of this piece, but I'd say that it falls a bit short when you get to the candles. Instead of following the blue, cold color scheme, I'd suggest you to follow the color scheme you introduce inside of the circular "halo". Your art has a two dimensional style, but I think that if you'd add some shading to the roses in a similar dark color as in the "halo", you could then paint the candle flames with a similar warm, yellow, color as in the "halo". This would emphasize the flame more, and make it more visible. Otherwise, I think this is a really nice piece! Your art shows that you have a lot of skill and practice. Wow! Just wow! It is a beautiful composition! The expression is very good and the line is stable and precise. The colors chosen are the right ones! Very beautiful the shades of blue! The effects of the candles are quite discreet. I think it would have been right to draw a small animated flame so that it would be more obvious what it is. Really, it's the only thing I have to criticize negatively the drawing, which is not much either (a few simple LOL flames). An excellent work!
