Infiltrator Type ASC: Designated: Siren
Sirens appear to be the AI's first go at an oceanic scout machine. Unlike the land bound MASC units, Sirens have been noted to travel in groups no larger than 3, likely in an attempt to evade detection. Each of these groups appears to be accompanied be 1 of the strange creatures pictured above.
Upon close examination of one of these creatures we believe them to be biotechnological recreations of a species from where ever the AI that started this was originally from. These creatures appear to serve as biotechnological signal relays, allowing the MASC command signals, which would otherwise be severely weakened as deep underwater as the Sirens operate, to recieve commands and relay information between each group of Sirens and the MASC surface forces.
Currently our own submersible MCs are able to prevent the Sirens and their biotechnological companions from penetrating too deep into our territory, but it is deeply disquieting that the AI has already adapted to this new warfront so quickly.
