The newest custom core developed by our forces, the Skimmer is designed almost exclusively for naval combat. Its primary method of locomotion is its hover jets it has in place of feet, as well as various other maneuvering boosters mounted on its frame. It primary weapon is its macro-sniper arm which also possesses as axe like bayonet blade for melee.
Its pilot is a woman named Ferra, callsign Rusty, which she earned due to her often taking her previous cores on joyrides near the ocean, which often caused rust in the legs from the salt spray. Of primarily Polynesian descent, she is one of humanity's ace pilots within Oceania because of her knowledge of ocean patterns.
