Well, this took WAY WAY too long. It started as just the krew, and then I was all HEY I didn't make this picture hard enough, why don't I make it this awesome picture with krew and the gaang and then all these other people and then I'll do a REAL background of Republic city and ASD;asdja;sdhalds.and then I died.
But first I colored it. And it took forever. Way longer than I thought. But I wanted it up before the finale, and at least something a bit cheerful after episode 10 OH GOD.
anyway. I really hope you guys like it b/c it's almost 2 am here in Japan and I should have been in bed two hours ago, but I wanted to finish this MONSTROSITY. So yes.

Quick note: my favorite part is the water. Also Toph. I choose odd fav parts. Also, did research for poses, but then I realized that the brothers don't know traditional bending, so I took traditional poses and changed them a bit.
ADDITIONAL NOTE: There is no Iroh 2 b/c I drew this before well before the finale, and he wasn't really a character yet.

Where's Suki? She was also a member of Team Avatar too. For Iroh II, he's more of an ally than a member of Team Avatar.

That is true, though I was going with the old characters of the Gaang that were mentioned in Korra (and seemed to have the most influence on the story), and we've not heard anything, I think, about Suki. I really hope we do hear about her in season 2, she was awesome! (I want to know what happened to herrr! )
Honestly, I might even say that Tenzin and Lin are closer to being allies than members, they aren't quite the core, but since they're actually related to the Gaang, I wanted them in there. Sadly, I drew this before the finale so I couldn't get Iroh II in ^_^;

Actually she did appear in the group picture that appeared in the opening credits that was made for the first episode.
I've actually made a concept of Book 3 where it mentions Suki and reveals that the Kyoshi Warriors are still active.

Yeah, but she doesn't show up in any of the flashbacks, and we don't know what happened to her, so I felt a disconnect there.
Oh, I hope they're still a functioning group, they're awesome.

Suki was not mentioned because probably due to timing constraints, any mention of her during Book 1 was cut. However the closest thing that Suki was mentioned was when Katara tells Korra that some of her friends have passed away alongside with Aang, meaning that she too passed away prior to the beginning of the series alongside with Sokka and Toph.Β She may probably appear in flashback at some point during in either Book 2, 3 or 4.Β
I really hope that the Kyoshi Warriors will return alongside with a possible reappearance of Zuko, Mai and Azula (yes, I still believe that Azula will redeem herself in The Search Part 3).
