Nice illustration, but the banners look out of place. Judging from the rest of the piece they should be really big and far away but you've drawn them as if they're small and light. At this size they are going to be heavy and the wall would block the wind so they shouldn't be moving that much, and the creases should be more subtle and there should be more of them

I based them on references for very large banner like things, but of course they're not exact as there were no refs for anything of this scale. The lightness of the fabric would probably help them move like that, and the wall wouldn't block the wind, based on the refs I looked at (the wind would also act differently here as the area is big and circular, so the wind is swirling a bit). I think the creases would depend on the type of fabric, the distance away, and the style of the art.

Come festive time my social anxiety seems to disappear but not my better half's.
I remember one time in Kyoto I found some drum parade and wondered toward it but I was literately picked up and taken back to my hotel, he said "Nope, too man people"

Ahah yeah, it depends on the person ^_^ I can last pretty well at crowded things in Japan, but 3 seconds on the street in New York broke me ^_^;;

I think it's because Japanese are more polite than New Yorker. Japan is a small island everyone needs to co-exist, New York is all business/gain or in a rush.

I think it's more cultural than area based, but it's probably less that and more that I just feel safer in Japan overall ^_^

Same, I could walk through the park to 7-elven and back not having a care in the world but here in Virginia I get scared going across my apartment building to do laundry.
