Description Cell phones are everywhere in Japan, but I've never seen two people sit and eat together and not talk at all. It was pretty...whoa ^_^;;;

And no they didn't seem upset with each other, they were just....texting.

Enjoy!

I saw this at a restaurant. It wasn't a couple, but two friends... They were sitting opposite of each other, their food went cold and they were texting. Not even looking at each other. Why the fuck did they go out if all they do it text? O.O I know it's not my business, but seriously... -.-"

Oh god I see that everywhere here, no with me, but my friends and a couple that I know will sit in a room together and text each other, I'm like seriously? Why? you can just open your mouths ): everything is going digital.

Maybe they were texting each other because they wanted to discuss things more privately? Honestly that's the only good reason I can think of to do something like that. I've never done anything like that with my boyfriend and neither has he.

My sister and I used to do something like this. We'd sit next to each other on the couch and just IM instead of talking.

My mom used to just walk past from time to time, shaking her head.

Well maybe they weren't on a date. I know my roommate and I will eat together when we don't have anyone else to eat with just to avoid eating alone. We don't dislike each other, but we aren't particularly close and so our meals consist of just eating and texting because it's better than trying to come up with some half-baked awkward conversation. u.u It's kinda sad actually.

I hope not, but they didn't look related, they had totally different facial structure. They acted boyfriendy and girlfriendy when they first came in, but then they sat down, and nothing ^_^;;

I have never been big on Texting, still not. Though I am a teen I prefer face to face communication.
