"The killer" means the player who had done genocide route and helped Chara to achieve his(their) plan. (Although Chara did a little bit help at last)

Reading this again makes me realize just how similar Chara and Sans are. They both keep a lot to themselves and rarely talk about their lives prior to meeting. They both very openly care about Frisk, but not even she is always let in on the many secrets they have. Chara and Sans are also both very cunning, but use such traits in different ways. Sans primarily uses it to annoy Papyrus, while Chara knows just what to say to remain "trustworthy" to those he surrounds himself with. Another thing they have in common is the fact that they are the first to see that there's more to what the other usually says. Sans usually knows when Chara is being manipulative and is the only one who can pick apart his words on where the truth lies and where Chara puts his own little spin on things. In return, Chara is able to use Sans's goals against him and knows just what to say to make the others wary on who's telling the truth. Also, Chara is the only one who seems to be able to provoke a reaction out of Sans, albeit not always the one he wants (because... well... it's Sans). Sans is the only one who knows how to keep Chara's plan from coming to fruition and is every bit as crafty as Chara is when the situation calls for it

Sans and Chara are indeed pretty similar in many ways. (maybe that's why they continuously fighting each other xD)
Having said that, the differences in the nature of their personality reveal at times as well, especially in some decisive moments they have to make a big choice. Sans chooses to trust Frisk and let her be her own (at least that's on the surface we can see), while Chara never gives in making Frisk think the way that satisfies him.

Though they're constantly fighting, I like to think that a small part of them is somewhat entertained by it. What I mean is, with Sans around, Chara has more obstacles, which can make it more fun for some people who compete. Chara, in return, gives Sans a reason to actually put effort into things, which he'd normally not do unless he absolutely has to (like in the genocide run). Basically, I like to think that a small part of them enjoys the competition and that they see each other as the only "worthy competitor"

I like Sans joke it was funny (though we all know Sans lots of times makes jokes to hide his true feelings, etc., so yeah). Plus, I absolutely love how chill Sans played it with Chara to the point that it surprised & unnerved Chara, because he really didnt expect Sans to react like that, he probably expected him to be pissed since he basically said Sans was unfit for Frisk, & said he would be the sole one for Frisk, & pretty much declared open war for Frisk's affection & love, though Chara dont except whatever scheme ur planning, which im sure isnt good, to work, esp. where Sans is involved, its a bad idea to piss off and make enemies of Sans. Also, while Sans acted all chill, I wouldnt trust that though, im sure he is absolutely pissed, esp. with that back shot, u gave us, even his back looked angry, im hoping we get to see his reaction his soon, im certain it will be a pissed off, terrifying one, cant wait. Also, if ever wonder why i make so many comments so close together, or on stuff that has out for awhile for this or any series, its because i have a tendency to binge read. Anyways, im continuing on, yes.
