 Actually this part somewhat reminds me of Asriel and Chara although they don't have a direct connection.

Well he shouldn't have drugged Chara since Frisk uses this body too.
Theorically, he has drugged Frisk too.

Chara can sleep but if it's because of a medic, the body will not wake up, even if Frisk wants to use it.

XD I suppose that makes sense. But what if Chara takes control while around Toriel? What if they use Toriel's presence to their advantage? Sans can't exactly defend himself if Toriel doesn't know the situation. It would be like.... damn, i forgot the name, but it's a discontinued comic where Genocide Frisk gets teleported to a Pacifist ending universe and Pacifist Frisk gets teleported to the genocide's world. Toriel didn't know the situation in that one, and as Sans tried to defend her from the Genocide (as he recognized them from his "nightmares.") Toriel attacked him with a fireball (out of reflex. Or at least, that's how it appeared) and killed him. By accident, of course. 

How can Toriel help if she doesn't know? I doubt you'd kill off Sans, considering. XD But if Toriel doesn't know, a situation similar to that discontinued comic could easily break out.

I think it's unlikely to compare these two stories with this. They have different premises and situations, after all.
That's one of the reasons but he did have other ones (to perform the plan alone)
It's not revealed by this point yet, so I can't answer you. Sorry.

Also Toriel could just say "Chara doesn't try to steal Frisk Sans, he just doesn't feel okay with your relationship since Frisk and him share the same body, let him time"

Also she would probably forbid him to see Frisk/Chara if she knew about the whole "drug thing" (or worse, if it's not a drug)
