this is a reference for a new character of mine. he's called "flicker" and he is rather smol, around 30 cm tall and has a wingspan of 70 cm. his moth-like fur is gradient, darker near the head and gets lighter towards the end of his body. he's very curious and will befriend almost anyone pretty fast. he's very loyal to his close friends and will fight anyone who hurts his loved ones. although he has wings and can fly, he's a bit clumsy in the air an prefers to glide, which is less tiring. when he does fly, he does so in the style of hummingbirds, which means he can stay in static flight and even travel backwards. flying like this does exhaust him, so he'll only do this if truly necessary.

-long, sharp teeth with large canines
-small floof on wrists

flicker was inspired by the the eeper species, an original species created by SugarCrestCafe
(note that flicker does NOT belong to the species though)
