Description
Tommy Richardsen // Trichardsen // Facebook // 500px Β // Google+ // InstagramWhen its raining like this being quick with framing and exposing and wiping the lens between each shots really helps, but it was absolutely worth it.
With such mixed weather conditions and an amazing backdrop it is to me a dream to photograph and enjoy the moment while it lasts.
Image captured in Lofoten, Northern Norway.
Nikon D800, 50mm.

Thank you very much.
One guy even asked me if the whole image was photoshopped, I think it would take days, even weeks to get in all the raindrops, and all being in varying sizes depending on how close to the camera and not to mention those being hit by the sunlight.
It was rather drawingΒ΄esk experiencing the moment, I knew I had to go for the shot right there, didnt have time to think much other than trying to get the depth of field in the image.

My pleasure I am already nuts
I've been googling the area since few days and i just cant wait to get there. I thought it was a much smaller area, 300km from one end to another. All mountains lakes and sea, damn
I am planning to stay in a camp in a tent most of the time. Any suggestions for camping grounds or for the area is very welcome

Eggum, Nusfjord, Reine, uttakleiv, Ramberg and Henningsvær are Amazing places not all of them is suitable for camping right on location, but if you camp close you have access when the light gets better.
Take the westside of lofoten for nightshots and eastside for day, you can do some backlit shots on the eastside at night, but there arent that many places where the sun just hits right.
I did a little blog about it when I got back from lofoten, you can read it here:Β www.trichardsen.com/blog/photoβ¦
