Christmas lights, up with the stars, brushstrokes firing the nights.
Swimming back-upwards, underneath the heavens and up is the water-sky.

I went to Norway in 2005 but we didn't stay long enough unfortunately to see the Northern Lights - I was there on a cruise and we just spent the day in Oslo before getting back on the ship - Norway was beautiful though and I hope to spend more time there someday.

If you spent the day in Oslo then I can understand that you did not see any auroras, the further north closer to the arctic circle you get the more frequent you will see the aurora, further south and the aurora has to get stronger and stronger to spread that far.
