Just a little proof that I DO know how to draw in a different style than the one you guys always see.
Couple of notes on this:
Lassy-face is HARD to draw. It doesn't matter what style, Carlton Lassiter just makes it as hard as he possibly can for you to draw him and make him look good. I don't know what his problem is.
Juliet isn't necessarily hard to draw, I just didn't put a lot of effort into drawing her. Poor Jules.
Shawn's hair defies all gravity. xD
Gus needs to wear something besides suits. You're amazingly stylish, Burton, but I get really tired of drawing suits after drawing Jules and Lassy.
The girl at the top is my character, Lucy. And I realized recently that when I got my new hairstyle it's the same as Lucy's. Maybe my subconscious is trying to tell me something. ...Nah.

i think the problem is his eyebrows. in real life, they are kind of angry looking. LOVE GUS!!!

That's true! I definitely need to work on drawing Lassy some more...I have so many ideas I want to use him in, but I'm not happy with how he turns out.

He most certainly IS aggravating. I think it's a combination of the overall crankiness, crazy eyebrows, and unnaturally awesome eyes. Those babies are BLUE.

Some things are as plain as that
Shawn's hair will ALWAYS defy gravity, just like he defies the law
Character's personalities sure do show up in the way they present themselves

Aw, thanks! It's one of my favorite styles too. It's so easy for me to just sketch something out on paper, scan it into the computer, and draw it out on the computer in pretty pretty color.
