O-O dunno really.I just suddenly had this urge to draw Tricky. XDD
But for a while I've been wanting to draw those glasses on her again.

and also that hat that Maksha had.
O -O and so... yeah... xD
this took me a bout 2 and half hours :F
because GIMP crashed and I had to make all of the layers over again, and re-color like half of it.

very cool, i like the glasses ^^ (is it strange that earlier today i doodled a james bond-esque villain wearing the same style glasses?) (also, it came out rather well, the nose made him look like a vulture so i made the cheeks and chin make it look like he had a beak XD i'm rather pleased with the results.)

o3o I often have characters that represent myself with some sort of mask.
Since I'm an introvert, and I don't often speak with others in real life. xD
so it makes me a bit of an enigma to my classmates (thus they assume things, which people also did with Tricky the first few times she appeared in my gallery xD)

Hm. That's interesting. I think I'll take a gander at your gallery later. I don't have any specific traits with my characters. They run the gamut from human to dragon to demon to anthro to alien to...well shit, a lot of stuff.
I was like that in High School too, except I didn't have a lick o' talent at the time. Yeah, you can't spell "assume" without "ass" hardy har har.

Tricky's been mistaken for one of my earlier characters (who is my alter-ego xD Maksha) because they look extremely similar (but for a reason.. being one is based solely off of me, and then the other is all the things I lack in person xD)
So everyone thought that she was Maksha, and from there they thought about her traits (stubborn, jackass, boisterous, very boyish, independent, a hard ass, also kind of a jerk and a showoff) but tricky is actually one of my most silent characters. Ever xD (besides if she ever does talk I either have to just write it normal or it's a bunch of random sound effects because you can't tell what shit she says through that mask lol)
pffshht- but character creation is so god damn fun. XD

It's always annoying when people confuse you with your characters. I show people Bosco and they're like, "Oh, that must be you!" And I'm like "NO GOD DAMN IT HE'S A FELON CAPABLE OF DRINKING AN ENTIRE BAR UNDER THE TABLE!" Then they accuse Mitch of the same thing...who is the complete opposite of Bosco, which usually involves a face palm of frustration at that point XP
Also, your sir icon is awesome. I IS GONNA ABUSE IT!

most usually just Tricky and Maksha though. When Tricky doesn't wear a mask she looks pretty much like Maksha's younger sister. Albeit she's the ugly sister OHOHOHO*ahem* ha... lol e3e (like here -> [link] yes I knew I did this |D) there's a comparison of them on that xD

I'm kinda reminded of post-apocalyptic werewolves when I see this. So the top left is Tricky with the mask, while Maksha's muzzle is wider?
Considering the history that you've set up, have you considered writing a story?
I wish I could make more comparisons, but my characters are pretty much independent. They all share some of my traits yet none. I actually entered a writing contest where you had to interact with your characters. Bosco nearly killed me -_-

Maksha is taller, bigger, and a lot more powerful than Tricky. Tricky is just like... a kinda wimpy little nerd dog compared to her LOL
o3o and I have started writing a bit of a story (Tricky and Maksha aren't in the same story though xD)
but as of lately I've been considering re-writing the whole things, since I started writing it in like... 7th grade. XD
and now it's kinda... disorganized and not very well thought out :0

I was using the top left-panel to draw comparisons, the one that said Tricky Vs. Maksha.
A time-line is a great idea. You probably have bios already, so I would also consider a character interview, like her history, her likes and dislikes, her opinion of other characters, that sort of thing. It will help you get a feel for her dialog and actions. I do that often with mine and other peoples' character.

The side-by-side view really cleared things up. Yeah, characters do evolve over time, though I didn't make bios for Bosco and Tommy until about two months ago. The stories describe them better, I feel.

Haha! Yeah, that's kinda how I felt about the bio process until I started writing my novel. I was making the characters from scratch though, so it was a little different.
