I went through the game with a Pidgeot that knew twister. Twister is a crappy move but that dang Pidgeot knew that move the whole game because she was pretty much the only pokemon I had that could deal with the freakin' hordes.

OMG whenever there's a horde, I just switch to my Blastiose which has Surf. I'm trying to make sure that at least one of the Pokemon in my team has a multi-target move or else I might as well just run the hell away. xD
