Had a bad experience with that, battling elite 4 there last pokemon had rocky head and I didn't realise, my last pokemon charzard was taken out from using fly, the battle ended in a tie.

I'm personally running rocky helmet on my Onix. Eventually I'm going to experiment with rocky helmet on either ferrothorn, or Druddigon to stack the passive damage with iron barbs or rough skin. Especially with the prevalence of mega Kanghaskhan. It'll probably end up on Ferrothorn, just for the sake of having a wall, and making that wall annoying as hell to attack.

Hordes of Mime Jr. are the worstΒ Β . This one time i encountered a horde of them and i tried to catch one but i was out of Pokeballs so i ended up not gettting one at all. The i encountered a horde of Β Wingull and i had my Ivysaur use razor leaf and killed them all at once.Β Β

Not for the hordes. They're random encounters just like any other wild pokemon in grass/water/caves. They're significantly lower in level compared to single wild pokemon in the area, to compensate.
However 3 vs 3 trainer/online battles are a thing now too, as well as 4 vs 4 (4 trainers, 2 pokemon each on two teams)

Noooope, they're pretty bullshit. Granted, the Pokemon are much lower leveled, so if you do have a multi-target attack they're easy, but still.
