it is! especially when they got hit first attacks or multi hits, my least favs are rock type hoardes cause they all use rock blast!
its too easy to underestimate hoardes.
but the easiest hoare battle i ever had was 5wismirs vs a honedge, took a while but excalibur took no damage, thank you ghost type XD
but the best part of hoardes is seeing all 5 pokemon fall at once, my fav is still beating 5 psyducks in a row

Especially, when you could just one-hit-k.o. them all with Surf or something like that, and then half of them (or all pfff) has Sturdy.... >.<

Have you figured out a way to save a seviper when it shows up with a Β hoard of 4 Zangoose that just try to kill it?

I'm playing the Y version, so in mine, it's 4 sevipers and 1 zangoose. Anyways, I managed to capture the zangoose using my gardevoire to heal the zangoose with Heal Pulse as I took out the sevipers one by one.

I almost did it once. But the last Zangoose used Quick Attack and killed the Seviper. Just annihilate the Zangoose as fast as you can. Best of luck to you!

I did eventually revisit the reflection cave with my level 60 Tauros. Earthquake-d the first horde of Mime Jr.'s I found, smiled silently to myself as they all toppled over like a conga-line gone wrong.

But EV training, man, you can max the stat in MINUTES with Power Items + Sweet Scent + Horde + hit-all-move.
I love how one of the Mime Jrs is actually stupidly happy, like while the rest is pretending, the one actually doesn't know what's going on.

Oh, I know ALL about DAT EVS now that I've made it to the post-game.
You can train 6 physical sweepers in 5 minutes on Route 11, it's insane.
