Description
It began with the battle between the two elder gods. For many centuries had Chernabog, spirit of darkness, waged war with Belobog, spirit of light. These battles quelled, however, upon the discovery that their actions had created a new creature - the Firebird, a spirit of fire, chaos and destruction. To seal its powers, the two gods created the Spring Sprite, a being of water. By its powers, the Firebird's massive body cooled and solidified, becoming the Earth, and the Spring Sprite formed the oceans encirling it, forever sealing it away.
